Eastern Energy Plus Co., Ltd. (EEP), a comprehensive municipal waste management and disposal leader, continues to advance its occupational health, safety, and environmental management systems to a professional standard. The company recently conducted its ‘2026 Annual Initial Firefighting and Evacuation Drill’ to equip personnel across all levels with the skills required to respond to emergencies correctly, swiftly, and systematically in accordance with international protocols. This initiative also underscores the company’s proactive safety commitments toward the surrounding community.

For this event, EEP was highly honored to receive the support and cooperation of the Phraek Sa Mai Municipality Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department, which deployed a team of expert instructors to share valuable knowledge and technical expertise with employees. The operation was divided into two core phases:
1. Theoretical Training and Initial Practical Sessions (July 8, 2026): Focuses included theoretical knowledge on fire emergency response, basic first aid techniques to provide timely assistance to victims, and practical hands-on training to ensure the correct, confident, and safe use of various fire extinguishers and suppression equipment.
2. Full-scale Simulated Fire and Evacuation Drill (July 14, 2026): The company conducted a full-scale simulation of a fire emergency at the ‘Landfill Area,’ a critical operational site. This session tested the facility’s emergency notification systems, command coordination, and initial suppression maneuvers executed by the in-house firefighting team, alongside the orderly evacuation of all personnel to designated assembly points. The expert team from the Phraek Sa Mai Municipality closely supervised, provided technical guidance, and evaluated the entire simulation.
Selecting the landfill area for this specific simulation not only sharpens the employees’ expertise and real-world readiness under actual operational conditions, but also reaffirms EEP’s corporate social responsibility toward neighboring communities, ensuring that potential environmental and social impacts are mitigated to the absolute minimum. EEP remains dedicated to continuously developing its safety and environmental standards, striving for sustainable growth alongside the community as a trusted leader in renewable energy and environmental management.
