SAMUT PRAKAN — Eastern Energy Plus Co., Ltd. (EEP) is advancing its sustainable environmental management partnership with RAKxa Integrative Wellness, a premium fully integrated health and wellness center located in Bang Krachao—known as Bangkok’s “Green Lung.” Together, they are launching the “Orphan Waste: From Burden to Energy” project to promote responsible waste management and reduce environmental impact.
Under this collaboration, EEP will serve as RAKxa’s official partner for managing “orphan waste.” This refers to non-recyclable and non-biodegradable waste, such as snack wrappers, multi-layer plastic pouches, contaminated packaging, mixed plastic bags, and composite waste materials, which typically present a disposal challenge and often end up in landfills.
EEP will support waste separation education, set up orphan waste collection systems, and process the waste into Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) for industrial energy use. This initiative will divert waste from landfills, minimize environmental footprints, and enhance resource efficiency in line with Circular Economy principles.
