Following heavy rainfall in Samut Prakan Province in late September 2026, several areas in Phraek Sa Mai and Bang Phli Yai sub-districts experienced temporary flooding, impacting daily commutes and local residents’ routines.

As a corporate member of the local community, Eastern Energy Plus Co., Ltd. (EEP) immediately implemented 24/7 environmental monitoring across its operational site. The company strictly inspected its stormwater drainage, wastewater treatment systems, and containment zones to ensure optimal functionality and prevent any environmental leakage.
Concurrently, under its core corporate social responsibility initiative “Good Neighbor”, EEP deployed four urgent community assistance measures:
- Transportation Assistance
Provided complimentary shuttle services in flooded zones to assist residents with daily commutes to work, school, and essential errands. - Relief Package Distribution
Distributed emergency packages containing essential foods, dry goods, household supplies, and basic medicines to affected families across Bang Phli Yai and Phraek Sa Mai. - Pumping Equipment Support
Deployed water pumping equipment to accelerate drainage in Pruksa Ville Village (Moo 1, Phraek Sa Mai), working in coordination with Ms. La-ong Boonserm, Head of Moo 1 Village. - Post-Flood Recovery & Road Cleaning
Dispatched water tank trucks and sanitation crews in collaboration with the Phraek Sa Mai Town Municipality to wash roads and restore clean conditions in Pruksa Ville and Pruksa Village.
These operations were successfully completed thanks to strong cooperation and support from local leaders and community members. EEP remains dedicated to maintaining high environmental standards, operating responsibly, and standing alongside the local community through all circumstances.
