EEP Group Partners with Samut Prakan Province for Large-Scale Landfill Fire and Evacuation Drill

SAMUT PRAKAN – Eastern Energy Plus Group (EEP Group), in collaboration with Samut Prakan provincial authorities, successfully conducted a comprehensive emergency response drill simulating a severe landfill fire and the evacuation of affected residents. The joint initiative aims to enhance crisis preparedness and optimize integrated disaster management capabilities for the future.

The exercise took place on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with robust support from the Samut Prakan Provincial Office, Phraek Sa Mai Town Municipality, and relevant government agencies.

To ensure a realistic and structured response, the drill operated across two strategic command centers:

  • Incident Command Post (ICP): Established at the Phraek Sa Mai Integrated Solid Waste Management Center (Eastern Energy Plus Co., Ltd.) to control the immediate situation on-site.
  • Emergency Operations Center (EOC): Located at the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Division of Phraek Sa Mai Town Municipality, serving as the provincial command headquarters.
