R-EEP Holds 2nd Meeting of the Waste-to-Energy Power Plant Monitoring and Community Development Committee for 2024

On August 8, 2024, Ratchaburi-EEP Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. (R-EEP) held the 2nd meeting of the Monitoring and Community & Environmental Development Committee for the Waste-to-Energy Power Plant. The meeting was honored by the presence of Mr. Chaloem Prasatthong, Provincial Local Administration Officer of Samut Prakan, who presided over the session.

This meeting was part of an ongoing effort following R-EEP’s compliance with the Code of Practice (COP) requirements for the Waste-to-Energy Power Plant Project, as submitted to the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC). The discussions focused on safety standards and environmental quality within the community.

The committee consists of four key sectors: government agencies, academia, local communities, and the private sector (company representatives). Its primary mission is to monitor the company’s operations to ensure compliance with regulations and oversee corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives according to the company’s strategic plans.
