Ratchaburi-EEP Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. (R-EEP) held the first meeting of the Committee for Monitoring Operations and Community and Environmental Development for the Waste-to-Energy Power Plant (Meeting 1/2025).

On April 28, 2025, Ratchaburi-EEP Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. (R-EEP) held the first meeting of the Committee for Monitoring Operations and Community and Environmental Development for the Waste-to-Energy Power Plant (Meeting 1/2025). The meeting was honored by the presence of Mr. Chalerm Prasatthong, the Samut Prakan Provincial Local Administration Officer, who served as the meeting’s chairman.

This meeting was part of an ongoing initiative stemming from R-EEP’s commitment to comply with the Code of Practice (COP) for the Waste-to-Energy Power Plant Project, as submitted to the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC). The COP outlines standards for community safety and environmental quality.

The committee consists of four sectors: government, academia, civil society, and the private sector (the company itself). Its primary mission is to monitor the company’s operations to ensure compliance with the defined requirements and to oversee the implementation of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities as outlined in its action plan.
