On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, employees of Eastern Energy Plus Co., Ltd. (EEP), led by Mr.Pharadon Palakawong Na Ayuthaya, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Mr. Anupong Muttaraid, Chief Operation Officer, collaborated with cadets from the Royal Thai Naval Academy, led by Rear Admiral Jakkrachai Noi-Huahat, Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Naval Academy, and Mr. Wachirachet Rungthawatwong, Mayor of Thepharak Subdistrict Municipality, along with municipal executives, to carry out a royal volunteer activity under the Royal Initiative, ‘We Do Good with Our Hearts.’
This activity was held in tribute to H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on the occasion of his birthday on July 28, 2023. Volunteers joined hands in cleaning Thap Nang Canal and the roadside areas along the canal in Soi Mangkon Khundi 9, Thepharak Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Prakan Province. Their efforts included trimming tree branches and grass, collecting leaves and waste, and enhancing the landscape to make it more orderly, beautiful, and clean. Additionally, garbage was collected from the canal.
Moreover, Eastern Energy Plus Co., Ltd. contributed two truckloads of Effective Microorganism (EM) solution, totaling 12,000 liters, to be sprayed into Thap Nang Canal to improve its water quality.
This activity was a collaborative effort between government agencies, the public sector, and private organizations, uniting all groups to contribute to improving the environment of Thap Nang Canal and its surrounding community, making it cleaner and more livable. It also demonstrated the power of unity and collective effort for the greater good.
Moreover, the initiative helped raise public awareness and instill a sense of responsibility in maintaining the cleanliness of communal areas. This effort will contribute to making Samut Prakan a more livable province, fostering orderliness and enhancing the overall quality of life within the community.
