On March 29, 2024, Ratchaburi-EEP Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. (R-EEP) held the first meeting of the Committee for Monitoring Operations and Community and Environmental Development for the Waste-to-Energy Power Plant of the year 2024. The meeting was honored by the presence of Mr. Chalerm Prasatthong, the Provincial Local Administrator of Samut Prakan, who served as the chairman.
This meeting was part of an ongoing series, following R-EEP’s commitment to complying with the requirements outlined in the Code of Practice (COP) for the R-EEP Waste-to-Energy Power Plant project, as submitted to the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC). These requirements focus on community safety standards and environmental quality.
The committee consists of four sectors: the government sector, the academic sector, the public sector, and the private sector (the company). Its primary mission is to monitor the company’s operations to ensure compliance with the established requirements, as well as to oversee corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities according to the company’s plans.
