The RDF-fueled power plant project by Mahanakhon Green Energy Co., Ltd. consists of three plants with capacities of 8 MW, 3 MW, and 3 MW. These plants will be located within the integrated municipal waste management center in Phraeksa Mai. The project is a collaboration with Phraeksa Mai Municipality, aiming to reduce the accumulated waste in the area.

All three power plants have already held foundation stone laying ceremonies and are currently in the site preparation phase for construction. This RDF power plant project aligns with the Clean City Act, as waste management is an urgent agenda. Both public and private sectors must cooperate to address the waste issue.

The process involves converting municipal waste into RDF fuel by incineration, utilizing the heat for energy production. Simply put, it is turning waste into electricity. This method not only helps reduce waste but also transforms it into reusable energy through environmentally friendly technology that is considerate of surrounding communities.
