EEP Group Moves Forward in Educating Local\nAdministrative Executives Nationwide on Comprehensive Waste Management and\nEco-Friendly Energy Conversion<\/span><\/strong><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

On July 20, 2023, at the Education Division Conference Room of\nPhraeksa Mai Town Municipality in Samut Prakan Province, EEP Group conducted a\ntraining session for 89 local administrative executives from across the\ncountry. This initiative aimed to provide in-depth knowledge on comprehensive\ncommunity waste management and converting waste into environmentally friendly\nelectricity. The training emphasized waste separation at the source and\nmaximizing waste utilization to serve as a model for effective waste management\nin local areas.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

Ms. Chonlada Chitanong, Public Relations and Corporate Activities\nManager of Eastern Energy Plus Group Co., Ltd. (EEP Group), served as the\nkeynote speaker. The attendees were undergoing training on disaster prevention\nand mitigation under the Local Director Training Program, organized by the\nInstitute for Personnel Development in Disaster Prevention and Mitigation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

The session covered key aspects of integrated waste management,\nparticularly the 3Rs principles: <\/span>Reduce<\/span><\/strong>\n(minimizing waste generation), <\/span>Reuse<\/span><\/strong>\n(extending the lifecycle of materials to delay waste accumulation), and <\/span>Recycle<\/span><\/strong>\n(transforming waste into new products). The training introduced EEP\u2019s\nsimplified waste segregation method, which involves separating wet and dry\nwaste to streamline final waste disposal.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

This initiative aligns with the policy of Mr. Abinash Magi, CEO of\nEastern Energy Plus Group Co., Ltd. (EEP Group), who envisions educating the\npeople of Samut Prakan on waste segregation at home and achieving <\/span>Zero\nWaste Management<\/span><\/strong>, ultimately transforming the province into a waste-free region.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

Additionally, the training session highlighted innovative waste\nrepurposing techniques. The instructors demonstrated how certain dry waste\nmaterials\u2014such as glass bottles, aluminum cans, and wood scraps\u2014can be\nrepurposed into <\/span>Keycone garden beds<\/span><\/strong>.\nThey also introduced the <\/span>Food Waste Garden<\/span><\/strong>,\ncreated from repurposed plastic water tanks, for growing household vegetables.\nFurthermore, participants learned how to convert food waste into organic\nfertilizer, promoting sustainable home gardening and reducing household food\nexpenses.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

The event was inaugurated by Mr. Amnuay Boonriew, Mayor of Phraeksa\nMai Town Municipality, along with his executive team.
