Launches “EEP Recyclable Waste Bank” CSR Project to Promote Waste Separation, Community Income, and Environmental Awareness
Pilot Program Targets Local Communities and Khlong Mai School

Samut Prakan, Thailand — Eastern Energy Plus Co., Ltd. (“EEP”), in collaboration with Phraeksa Mai Municipality, has launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative titled the EEP Recyclable Waste Bank (EWB). The project aims to promote proper waste separation at source, reduce household waste, and foster environmental awareness among community members and students, with a pilot implementation in local communities and Khlong Mai School.
The EEP Recyclable Waste Bank (EWB) is designed to equip participants with practical knowledge on recyclable waste management while creating opportunities for additional income or savings. Members can exchange recyclable waste for reward points, gifts, or savings credits, effectively turning waste into value while encouraging responsible environmental behavior.
The project also seeks to reduce waste generation at its source and strengthen collaboration among the private sector, local authorities, communities, and educational institutions. Waste bank collection points will be established across selected municipal areas and within participating schools, making participation convenient and accessible for residents and students alike.
As part of the implementation plan, member registration will open in March, followed by the official launch of the waste-for-points collection program in May. All collected recyclable materials will be managed through appropriate recycling channels to ensure maximum environmental benefit.
Eastern Energy Plus believes that the EEP Recyclable Waste Bank project will serve as a practical platform to build long-term environmental awareness, encourage sustainable waste management behaviors, and empower communities—particularly young students—to become active participants in environmental stewardship. The initiative reflects the Company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable development and meaningful community engagement.
